JOHNSTON, RI : 4 seriously injured after crash, fire at gas station on Tuesday, December 13, 2016

Authorities say four people were seriously injured when a crash involving multiple vehicles ended in a massive car blaze at a Johnston gas station.

State police Capt. John Allen said Tuesday he couldn’t provide details on what led up the crash as investigators are still working to sort out what had taken place.

Troopers found four people injured at the family-owned station around 4:10 p.m. Police say two of the four suffered injuries considered life-threatening. WJAR-TV reports authorities say the injuries appear to be related to the crash, not the fire.
