LONGVIEW, WA : 2 in critical condition after car hits bystander, crashes into apartment in Longview on Thursday, 13th June 2024

A minivan left the road and hit a bystander before crashing into an apartment complex in Longview late Thursday morning.

Around 11:30 a.m., the Longview Fire Department was called to an apartment complex for a car crash involving a pedestrian. Initial reports said the bystander was unconscious and a person was trapped in the apartment.

When firefighters arrived they found the minivan inside the apartment, an unconscious woman who had been hit by the van, a person trapped between the van and the inside wall of the apartment, and a third person inside the van. A LifeFlight helicopter was requested.
