MAPLE GROVE TWP., MI : 14-year-old boy are dead following a crash involving a car and two Amish sulky carts on Tuesday, 12th September 2023

The Barry County Sheriff's office says a 40-year-old man and 14-year-old boy are dead following a crash involving a car and two Amish sulky carts.

It happened around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday on E Cloverdale Rd. east of Guy Rd. in Maple Grove Twp.

Investigators say the driver of a car collided with two Amish Sulky Carts, all heading westbound.

Three people were inside the carts: the man and teenager killed, as well as a 17-year-old who was hurt.

The driver of the car was not hurt.
