Biloxi, MS : Moss Point man died in a head-on collision on Pass Road, near Rich Avenue in Biloxi on Monday afternoon, February 29, 2016

A Moss Point man died Monday afternoon in a head-on collision that shut down traffic on Pass Road, near Rich Avenue in Biloxi.

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove said Eric Graves, 44, was pronounced dead in the emergency room of Merit Health at 2:35 p.m. He wasn't wearing a seat belt, and died from injuries he suffered in the crash.

Sgt. Brian Dykes, Traffic Section Supervisor with the Biloxi Police Department, said witnesses reported seeing a white Mustang drift into oncoming traffic and hit a truck head-on around 1:30 p.m. The truck driver suffered a broken leg and knee.

What caused Graves to drift into oncoming traffic remains under investigation.
