Volusia County, FL : School bus and ambulance involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Orange City on Tuesday afternoon, March 10, 2015
Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a multivehicle injury crash involving a school bus in Volusia County.
It happened just before 3 p.m. Tuesday along Harley Strickland Boulevard and Veterans Memorial Parkway. The intersection remains blocked.
Troopers said the crash involved the bus, an ambulance, pickup truck with trailer and a car.
The school district said the operator, an assistant and the assistant's child were aboard the bus at the time, which was headed to University High School to pick up students. They are sending another bus to take students home.
No injuries were reported on the bus, according to a school district spokeswoman.
It is not known the extent of any injuries in the other vehicles.
