RICHLAND, WA : Two injured in roll-over crash on Thursday, July 20, 2017
Two people, including a 3-year-old boy from Yakima were injured in a crash on Columbia Center Boulevard Thursday afternoon. The other injured party is identified as Kamren Murray, 21, of Richland.
Murray was driving a black Honda Civic westbound on Highway 240, when she made what Washington State Patrol describes as an unsafe lane change. At that point, she struck a silver Mazda Tribute driven by Khale Hendricks, 28, of Yakima which was traveling in the same direction. Hendricks’ vehicle rolled. The child was a passenger in that vehicle.
Both Murray and the little boy were transported to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. WSP did not release any information about the extent of their injuries. Murray has been cited for negligent driving.
Both injured parties were wearing safety restraints. Murray’s vehicle could be driven from the scene. Hendricks’ car was totaled and had to be towed.
