QUEEN CREEK, AZ : 1 dead, 1 hurt in crash involving motorcyclist in Queen Creek on Saturday, 14th September 2024

One person is dead, and another is seriously hurt after a crash in Queen Creek on Saturday morning.

Queen Creek police say around 8 a.m., a vehicle and motorcycle collided near Ivy Lane and Power Road, north of Riggs Road. One person died at the scene, and another was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities are working to determine if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash. The victim has not been identified.

Power Road is closed northbound between Cloud and Riggs road as the investigation continues.
