The man killed in a two-car crash Saturday morning in Westborough has been identified by police as 63-year-old Timothy Roth of Westborough.
Authorities responded to the area of 18 Nourse St. in Westborough around 10 a.m. for a report of a crash.
Police said a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Tracey Lowney of Saugus was involved in the crash. Her vehicle had heavy front-end damage.
Lowney was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. She is expected to survive.
Roth was trapped inside his car, a 2002 Honda Civic, and had to be extricated by firefighters, according to Westborough police. He was rushed to UMass Memorial Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
