APACHE JUNCTION, AZ : 15 people injured as vehicle crashes into Elks Lodge in Apache Junction on Saturday, 7th September 2024

A car crashed into Elks Lodge in Apache Junction on the evening of Sept. 7, injuring 30 people.

Authorities with the Superstition Fire and Medical District say that among the 30 people hurt, some are in serious condition but are stable.

The crash happened near Lost Dutchman Boulevard and Apache Trail around 8:30 p.m.

"There were ten individuals transported to multiple hospitals by ambulance, while fifteen others received treatment at the scene for minor injuries. At least five other people drove themselves to local hospitals as well for minor injuries. One of the individuals is in critical, but stable condition. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this incident and wish all a speedy recovery," Apache Junction PD said.
