SPOKANE, WA : 1 dead following vehicle versus pedestrian crash in Spokane Valley on Sunday, 11th June 2023

One person is dead following a vehicle vs pedestrian crash in south Spokane Sunday afternoon.

Around 4:20 p.m. on June 11, deputies with the Spokane County Sheriff's Office SCSO received reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash at the intersection of South Baltimore Road and South Palouse Highway.

According to SCSO, the woman was hit by a car traveling southbound on Palouse Highway.

Spokane County Fire District 8 began lifesaving treatment, however, the woman died due to the severity of her injuries.

SCSO says the driver involved in this crash stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
