BELFAIR, WA : A 33-year-old Bremerton man was killed on Friday, June 23, 2017

A 33-year-old Bremerton man was killed when a tree fell on the excavator he was operating.

The Kitsap Sun reports (https://goo.gl/XLuksK ) the man was using the excavator on Davis Road in Belfair Friday when the tree fell.

The Mason County Coroner’s Office identified the man as Brian Keith Mattis.

An autopsy is scheduled for next week.
