CARY, NC : Woman dies after crash that closed Ten Ten Road in Cary on Thursday, 4th January 2024

A 73-year-old woman died after a two-vehicle crash on Ten Ten Road and Plumtree Way.

According to police, the crash happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Officers said the woman, driving a Toyota Avalon, turned into the path of a Ford pickup that was driving on Ten Ten Road.

Firefighters had to cut the roof off of the crumpled vehicle to extract the driver. She was taken to the hospital with what police described as life-threatening injuries.
