Longmont,CO : Coroner IDs driver of concrete mixer killed in Longmont crash on July, Monday 24th 2017

The Boulder County coroner today identified the driver of a concrete mixer who was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Longmont on Monday as 22-year-old Fermin Alvarez Yanez.

An autopsy will be completed and the cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, according to a statement from the coroner.

Yanez, of Henderson, was driving the truck in the area of South Martin Street and Ken Pratt Boulevard when he was involved in a crash with a car.

Police are not yet releasing what caused the crash or what happened.

The crash marks the 17th vehicle-related death in Boulder County this year.
