Two people were taken to the hospital following a three-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in southeast Leavenworth County, according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at 7:35 a.m. at 158th Street and Kansas 32 Highway.
Gregory J. Robinson, 70, Bonner Springs, reportedly was driving east on K-32 in a 2017 Freightliner semitrailer. He started to make a left turn onto 158th Street.
The truck was struck by a westbound 2009 Toyota passenger car driven by Eliza Pennington, 36, Kansas City, Kansas.
The Toyota then spun around, striking a 2010 Chevrolet pickup that was stopped at 158th Street, according to the KHP report.
Robinson was taken to the Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas.
Pennington was taken to the University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, Kansas.
The other driver, Scott M. Lingenfelser, 46, Basehor, was not injured, according to the KHP report.
