Christmas ,FL : 78 - years old Woman struck and killed after Crash at State Road 520 on Friday ,May 1 2015

One person was killed Friday afternoon in a crash on State Road 528 at State Road 520.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the victim, who has only been identified as a 72-year-old woman, was driving a 2005 Nissan east on SR 528, exiting onto SR 520. When she exited she made a left turn and pulled directly into the path of a 1995 Oldsmobile, driven by Dwight Johnson, 20.

Troopers said the front right side of Johnson's car struck the the left side of the woman's Nissan.

No other details were immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
