Callaway County, MO : Three Fulton teens injured in a one-vehicle accident on Route UU near Callaway County on Tuesday, March 10, 2015
Three Fulton teens were injured, one seriously, Tuesday when the convertible Ford Mustang they were driving crashed into a tree and ejected them, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
The Mustang, driven by Danielle F. Adams, 17, of Fulton, was heading west when it went off the right side of Route UU about a quarter-mile east of Callaway County Road 101, the report said. The vehicle returned to the road before Adams lost control of it; the car went off the right side of the road again and hit a tree. All three teenagers were thrown from the convertible, which had the top down at the time, the report said. None of the three was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and the car was totaled, the report said.
Adams suffered serious injuries. Kelcee N. Bristol, 17, had moderate injuries, and Kalob M. Kelley, 19, had minor injuries. The two passengers also are Fulton residents. All three were taken to University Hospital.
