Greenville, South Carolina
Authorities say a Greenville County deputy and another driver have both been injured in a crash.
Local news agencies report the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the incident happened around noon Sunday at an intersection in Greenville County.
Officials say the deputy’s patrol car collided with the driver of another vehicle.
Lance Cpl. Tony Keller says both individuals were taken to the hospital. Their conditions and the extent of their injuries were not immediately known.
Authorities say the driver of the other vehicle was entrapped and had to be extracted from the car. Keller says a passenger in that vehicle, a girl in a child seat, was not hurt.
