Spanish Fork, UT : Semi-truck crashes through daycare in Spanish Fork on Wednesday, July, 15th, 2015

A tractor-trailer crashed through a Spanish Fork daycare center when the driver suffered a medical episode.

The Daily Herald of Provo reports that the truck drifted to the right of the road and hit a light pole Wednesday morning before heading back across the road to the left side. At that point the truck hit some playground equipment at a daycare center before stopping in a church parking lot.

Spanish Fork Police Department Sgt. Courtney Jones says the semi driver blacked out while driving. While property was damaged, the building was unoccupied and no one was injured in the crash.

The driver was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
