Brunswick, ME : A two-vehicle crash on Thursday, July 13, 2017

Brunswick police are investigating a two-vehicle crash reported on Church Road at approximately 4 p.m. Thursday in front of Region Ten Technical High School.

Police as of nearly 5:30 p.m. still had the road blocked, but traffic was able to loop around the crash through Robin, Kyle and Leslie streets. The road was expected to open soon.

A Subaru and a GMC pickup truck collided. The woman driving the Subaru trapped in the car. Brunswick firefighters cut the door off with hydraulic tools to free her and transported her to Maine Medical Center in Portland with serious injuries.

The man driving the pickup truck was transported to Mid Coast Hospital.

Air bags deployed in both vehicles, which were totaled. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
