Titusville, PA : One dead in late night crash in city, Sunday
October 16th 2016
One driver was killed and another is being investigated for possibly driving under the influence after a two-vehicle crash, late Sunday night, in front of the Moose Lodge, along the West Central Avenue extension.
The crash occurred around 10 p.m., as the driver of a red Jeep pulled out of the lodge to apparently head east, into the path of a westbound dark-colored sedan, police said.
Police were not releasing the names of those involved, pending notification of next of kin and the department’s investigation.
The drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles, and police Chief Harold Minch said neither appeared to have been wearing seatbelts.
Police said DUI investigations are standard in serious crashes.
