Colonie, NY : 20-year-old motorcyclist killed in head-on crash with car in the Albany suburb Saturday evening, July 30, 2016

Authorities say a motorcyclist has died after crashing into a car in eastern New York.

Colonie police say 20-year-old Naron G. Pieck, of Watervliet, was heading north on Cohoes Road, south of the Route 7 overpass in the Albany suburb Saturday evening.

They say the bike crossed into the southbound lanes and hit an oncoming car head on.

Police say the motorcyclist suffered head injuries and was taken to a hospital, where he died a short time later.
