BENTON RIDGE, OH : Two people hurt in rural accident on Hancock County 16 in Blanchard Township on Sunday, 10th February 2019

Two people were hurt in a single-car accident late Sunday night on Hancock County 16 in Blanchard Township, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office reported.

According to the sheriff’s office, Alyssa Geckle, 17, of Columbus Grove, was driving a 2017 Nissan Altima north on Hancock County 16, south of Blanchard Township 82, at 11:17 p.m. when her car went off the right side of the road and into a ditch.

Geckle and a passenger, Jesus Davila, 19, of McComb, were both taken by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, the sheriff’s office reported.
