Man Dies in Covington County Crash in Georgia

A single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning claimed the life of an Andalusia man.Christopher Milton Pettus, 37, was killed when the 1998 Chevrolet Blazer that he was driving left the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned.Pettus, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.The crash occurred at 3:15 a.m. on U.S. 84 inside the Sanford city limits.No additional information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
