1 killed in crash at Colfax and 6th Ave. in Jeffco

The Colorado State Patrol said one person was killed in a car crash at Colfax Avenue and 6th Avenue in Jefferson County Wednesday morning.The crash happened around 5 a.m. and involved a single vehicle.Details about how the crash happened have not been released. The car traveled about 200 yards before it came to a rest on Colfax, reported a FOX31 Denver photographer at the scene.Eastbound Colfax is closed at 6th Ave until further notice.
