One person died Friday morning in a two-car crash in rural Florence County.
Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken identified the victim as Matthew Phillip Boyington, 24, of Lake City.
The coroner said the crash happened at 6:20 a.m. at the intersection of North Ham Road and St. Paul Road and that the crash remained under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol hadn't posted any information on the crash as of 4:10 p.m.
