Woodbine, IA : 45-year-old Missouri Valley man killed in a single vehicle motorcycle accident near Woodbine on Friday night, September 19, 2014

A Missouri Valley man died at an Omaha hospital Friday after he crashed his motorcycle three miles west of Woodbine. Blake Shipman, 45, was found with serious head injuries on Easton Trail. Woodbine Rescue took him to the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities determined the motorcycle was westbound about 7 p.m. on a curved part of the road when the crash occurred. Shipman was not wearing a helmet.
