Woman dies after being hit by car near Hinsdale

A three vehicle crash in Valley County claimed the life of a pedestrian on Friday.The wreck happened on U.S. Highway 2 just east of Hinsdale, with the Montana Highway Patrol reporting that a vehicle was towing a van out of a driveway when it was hit by another vehicle heading west.The victim was a 36-year old woman from Billings who was hit while checking on a toe strap. Troopers say she was pronounced dead at the scene.Her name has not yet been released.
