Orlando, FL : A 3-year-old child died after she was hit by a pickup truck at 33 South Solandra Avenue On Thursday, June 24th, 2016

A 3-year-old child died Thursday night after she was hit by a pickup truck leaving a driveway, Orlando police said.

The incident happened at a residence located at 33 South Solandra Avenue.

According to police, Hector Rodriquez-Mejia, 32, was exiting the driveway in a Dodge Ram pickup truck when the child was hit.

The child, identified as Allison Rodriquez, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, Rodriquez-Meija, was not aware the child was near the vehicle.
The investigation is ongoin, police said.
No additional information has been released.
