Hutchinson, KS : Garden City man hurt in Finney County rollover crash on Tuesday, 23rd August, 2016

A Garden City man was hurt Tuesday after being involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Finney County.

Lawrence Michael Lamastres, 25, of Garden City, was traveling south on Business 83 Highway around 8:01 a.m. when his vehicle went left of center, failed to stop at a stop sign at an intersection and continued south across the intersection, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.

Lamastres’ vehicle then overcorrected and went into a passenger-side vault, leaving the road and rolling an unknown number of times before landing on its roof in a field.

He was transported to St. Catherine’s Hospital in Garden City with injuries.

As of Tuesday evening, he had been treated and released from the hospital’s care.

He was wearing a seat belt.
