Jacksonville, FL : Car crash ended with a light pole knocked over in Arlington on Monday morning October 27th 2014

A car crash ended with a light pole knocked over in Arlington Monday morning. The incident happened around 2 a.m. near the exit ramp of Interstate 295 and Merrill Road. The driver hit a light pole and then a tree. The Florida Highway Patrol said only one car was involved and the driver wasn't seriously hurt but was taken to the hospital. JEA said the new pole may not be up until later Monday or Tuesday. No power outages were reported with the incident. JEA crews also patched up a live wire left from the scene.
