Chicago, IL : Woman hurt when car crashes into North Park bus stop shelter on Tuesday, 10th April 2018
A car crashed into a CTA bus stop shelter early Sunday on the North Side, leaving a woman injured.
About 1 a.m., a 1997 Honda Civic heading eastbound in the 3800 block of West Foster sideswiped another vehicle, struck the shelter and rolled onto its side, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
A woman in the car was taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, Greer said. The 22-year-old man driving and another adult passenger weren’t hurt.
The driver was cited for failure to stay in a lane and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said.
