Wood county, OH : Devin M. Richards, 23, and Christon William, 23 dead in a single-vehicle crash on Bowling Green Road and Housekeeper Road in Center Township on Friday morning, March 6, 2015

Two Sandusky men were killed and a third man was injured Friday morning in a single-car crash at the intersection of Bowling Green and Housekeeper roads east of Bowling Green, the Bowling Green post of the State Highway Patrol reported.
Devin M. Richards, 23, and Christon Williams, 23, were pronounced dead by the Wood County Coroner’s Office. They were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the car, the patrol said.
A third man, Phillip Lemon, 26, of Sandusky, was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, by medical helicopter with serious injuries, authorities reported. Lemon reportedly walked from the accident scene to a nearby residence to report the crash.
The crash was reported at 6:35 a.m.
According to the patrol, a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier was eastbound on Bowling Green Road when it failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle crossed Housekeeper Road, struck a guardrail and overturned several times before coming to rest in a field.
The patrol said it has not been determined who was driving. Alcohol or drug use is suspected in the crash.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Mid-County Rescue, Center Township Fire Department and JR’S Towing assisted at the scene.
