Bourg, LA : Bourg woman killed in single-vehicle crash on Thursday, 12th December, 2019

A 68-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday night in Bourg, State Police said.
The crash claimed the life of Lolita Henry, of Bourg, Senior Trooper Jesse LaGrange said in a release.
Henry was traveling south around 9:30 p.m. on Country Drive in a 2009 Kia Spectrum, LaGrange said. After turning right onto Corral Way Drive, she veered off the roadway to the left and struck a drain culvert.
The victim suffered critical injuries and was transported to Terrebonne General Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. It is unknown if Henry was wearing a seat belt and alcohol is suspected, LaGrange said.
Toxicology results are pending and the crash remains under investigation.
