WEST CHESTER TWP, OH : I-75 crash involves buses with Colerain HS football team on Friday, 28th October 2022

Eight people were taken to local hospitals after a crash involving three school buses transporting Colerain High School’s football team to a Friday evening game in Mason.

The first-round playoff game was delayed one hour and did not kick off until 8 p.m.The crash happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 near Cincinnati Dayton Road just after 5:20 p.m. when the three Northwest Local Schools buses reached stopped traffic, according to a release from the Hamilton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

“The lead school bus stopped abruptly, which led to a chain reaction crash involving all three school buses and a Ford pickup truck,” the patrol said.
