Eaton County, MI : Two people injured in crash on M-43 in Oneida Twp. Thursday morning, September 1, 2016

Two people were injured in a crash Thursday morning at M-43 and Oneida Road.

The Eaton County Sheriff's Office said a box truck heading south on Oneida collided with a westbound Chevrolet Tahoe about 9:40 a.m. Both vehicles came to rest in the intersection, causing traffic problems for about an hour.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Police or fire crews from Grand Ledge and Benton Township also responded to the crash.
