Baltimore, MD : Woman injured after a single-vehicle crash in Linthicum early Wednesday morning, November 9, 2016

A woman was taken to a hospital following a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Linthicum, a county fire department spokesman said

Firefighters responded to the crash in the area of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Boulevard Place around 3:15 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a sport utility vehicle that left the roadway and struck a concrete abutment of an overpass, Capt. Russ Davies, a fire department spokesman, said.

The SUV sustained heavy front-end damage. The driver, a woman believed to be in her early-20s, was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, Davies said.

Additional information was not immediately available Wednesday morning.
