Evans, GA : One person dead after single car wreck on Wednesday, November, 22nd 2017

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly car crash.

It happened Wednesday afternoon on Riverwood Parkway in Evans.

Captain Andy Shedd confirms Steven Eveker was in a single car incident.

Eveker was a Deputy Commander General in the Louisiana National Guard.

Shedd says a medical condition may have caused the accident, but it is unclear at this time.

An autopsy will be performed at a later date.
