WARREN COUNTY, NY : One person is dead after a two car crash on Wednesday, May 31, 2017

One person is dead after a two car crash in Warren County.

According to Corporal Eric Henry with Mississippi Highway Patrol, 66-year-old Clyde Stinson, of Vicksburg, was killed on US 61 at Glass Road after a wreck between a Honda Accord and a Nissan Sentra. Preliminary investigation shows that the Honda was traveling southbound on US 61 and the Nissan was crossing over the southbound lanes of US 61 from Glass Road when the two cars struck each other.

The Nissan Sentra failed to yield the right of way for the southbound Honda Accord.

The driver of the Honda was transported to Merit Health in Vicksburg with injuries.

The driver of the Nissan was killed on the scene.
