SUMTER COUNTY, FL : 1 dead after wrong-way crash in Sumter County on Tuesday, 9th January 2024

A 49-year-old Lacoochee man was killed in a wrong-way crash Tuesday afternoon in Sumter County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 4 p.m. on State Road 50, west of County Road 469, troopers said.
