Oakland, CA : Motorcyclist dies in early morning crash on I-880 in East Oakland on early Saturday, August 23, 2014

A Hayward man died early Saturday when he crashed his motorcycle into the median on Interstate 880 in Oakland and flew into oncoming traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol. Tsz Wan, 26, died at 3:20 a.m. when he lost control of his motorcycle and slammed into the cement median near the Hegenberger Road off-ramp and landed on the opposite side of the freeway, where he was hit by an oncoming car, authorities said.
