Timothy Morrison, 51, of Portsmouth, was attempting to cross Route 1 at around 6 this morning in the area of the Southgate Plaza, police said, when he was struck by two vehicles. Morrison died at the scene.

New Hampshire State Police, Troop A Barracks in Epping and the State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit responded to the crash and determined that a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Aaron Legassie, 38, of Rochester and a 1988 Chevrolet van operated by Mark Docorcy, 56, of Portsmouth had been traveling southbound on Route 1.
