Pocatello, ID : Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision on April, Saturday 29th 2017

A local man remains in the hospital following a Saturday afternoon collision between a motorcycle and car just south of Pocatello city limits.

Motorcyclist Richard Shook, 46, of Pocatello, was seriously injured in the 3 p.m. collision with the car in the 6000 block of South Fifth Avenue, according to the Bannock County Sheriff's Office. He was transported via ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition on Sunday.

The driver of the car that collided with Shook's motorcycle was not injured.

Further details on the crash have not yet been released.

The wreck remains under investigation by the Bannock County Sheriff's Office.
