Temple, TX : I-35 traffic backed up after Troy wreck Wednesday afternoon on Wednesday, November, 22nd2017

Traffic was backed up going both ways after a semi truck rollover on southbound Interstate 35 in Troy coupled with the busy pre-Thanksgiving travel on Wednesday afternoon.

While the wreck was cleared as of 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jodi Wheatley of the Texas Department of Transportation said that traffic on both southbound and northbound I-35 was backed up from the incident near mile marker 308.

Northbound traffic was backed up all the way to Belton. with a 30-minute time to complete that distance, she said, and southbound was slowed north of Bruceville-Eddy.

Alternate routes were suggested.
