Milton, PA : 2 dead in Route 15 car crash near Milton on Sunday, 30th August, 2020

State police at Milton say two people were killed early Sunday on Route 15 near West Milton.A driver of a car and a passenger in another car in the collision were pronounced dead at the scene in Kelly Township, police said.

The crash occurred at 2:30 a.m. as a driver in a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt was traveling north but in the southbound lane. The second car, a 1993 Subaru Legacy, was traveling southbound on Route 15 in the left lane.

The Cobalt struck the Subaru head-on, police said. That initial impact caused the Subaru to overturn and land in the grass median.

The Cobalt continued to travel north and collide with the passenger-side of a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer.
