Forsyth County, GA : 39-year-old woman killed in 2-vehicle collision on Highway 41 and Anthem Parkway in Cumming on Tuesday morning, May 3, 2016

Authorities have identified the woman who was killed Tuesday morning in a head-on crash in Cumming.

Marianella Sanchez, 59, of Cumming, died when her Honda collided with another vehicle on Highway 9, Forsyth County sheriff’s spokesman Epifano Rodriguez said. The accident happened north of Anthem Parkway.

The driver of the other vehicle, a Ford F-150, was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities received the call at 7:10 a.m., Rodriguez said.

The investigation is ongoing.
