Columbus, OH : Powell man dies in Delaware County crash on Saturday, December, 9th 2017

A Powell man died on Saturday when his car went off the side of Route 257 in Delaware County.

According to the State Highway Patrol’s Delaware post, a 2010 Nissan Sentra driven by Christopher E. Utrata, 47, was northbound on Route 257 in Scioto Township when it went off the right side of the road and overturned about 8:15 a.m.

Utrata was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car. The crash was just south of Route 37, north of Ostrander.

The Delaware County coroner pronounced Utrata dead at the scene. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
