The driver of a Charlotte Fire Department ladder truck was taken to the hospital after the vehicle overturned Sunday morning. The driver has since been released from the hospital.
The single vehicle crash happened on the 9500 block of Community House Drive near Johnston Road and Community House Middle School in Charlotte.
Charlotte police say the station 32 ladder truck turned over in a yard while responding to a fire alarm call.
Four people was inside the truck when it crashed at 3:25 Sunday morning. The driver was taken to the hospital and treated for a hand injury.
Charlotte fire Captain Rob Brisley says a reserve truck is in service to help maintain protection in the area.
No word on what caused the crash, CMPD is investigating the accident.
