LUBBOCK, TX : 1 arrested after ACU bus crash leaves 4 injured following TTU football game on Saturday, 31st August 2024

Four people were injured and one person is now in custody after an Abilene Christian University bus was involved in a crash with a truck and an SUV following Saturday night’s game against Texas Tech.

The Lubbock Police Department reports the call for the crash came in at 11:33 p.m. from Marsha Sharp and University.

According to Lubbock Police, 19-year-old Parker Young was driving south on University when he disregarded traffic direction and collided with the bus.
