Honolulu, HI : Car crashes into bridal shop through wall in downtown Honolulu on Friday morning, March 6, 2015
A car slammed through a wall and into a bridal shop inside a downtown Honolulu building Friday morning.
According to Honolulu Fire officials the incident happened at 9:30 a.m. at the Keola Lai Condominiums on 600 Queen Street.
Fire officials say a Toyota Corrola driven by an "elderly" woman was inside the parking lot when the driver some how crashed through the the dry-wall of the Bijou Bridal shop.
"If they hit something more solid there would be more damage. Fortunately there was no injuries in this incident but there is some significant damage to the walls but structurally it is still sound," said HFD Capt. David Jenkins.
The driver and a female passenger refused medical treatment.
Fire officials say that the bridal shop was not open at the time of the crash.
