Callaway County , MO : 51 - Years old women and her Daughter were injured when she went off the right side of the road and hit utility Pole on Sunday Morning, February 1st 2015

A Fulton woman and her daughter are recovering from their injuries after a Sunday-morning crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Karen Koontz, 51, was driving west on Highway F east of Highway J around 7:40 a.m. when she went off the right side of the road. Her car hit a drain culvert, then went airborne, hit a utility pole and overturned. Although Koontz sustained minor injuries, her daughter, 30-year-old Amber Foster, was seriously injured. Foster's daughter, Carly, 9, also sustained minor injuries. The Fosters were both taken to University Hospital and subsequently released.

The Highway Patrol says Koontz was driving too fast for conditions. Koontz was not wearing a seatbelt but her daughter and granddaughter were.
